- Rare Military issue first pattern S6 respirator bag
- First pattern cotton / canvas material
- Could be slung hand bag style or in the alert position
- A simple cord and cleat secured the bag in place
- Wedge shaped at the base
- Canvas material that proved difficult to clean after a NBC attack so was later updated
- Attached to the body with a cross strap with adjustable buckles but.. this wasn't practical and was usually hung off the belt
- The bag could be worn slung by the side when not needed and on the chest for immediate action, much like the wartime service respirator.
The haversack is prevented from ‘bouncing’ around by the use of a piece of string as a steadying strap, that is passed around the body and wrapped around a metal disc to hold it tight.. in theory - The bag is secured by two press studs and a quick release fastener of the same as that used on 58 pattern webbing
- Inside the flap are 2 straps for sundries
- Inner nylon pocket for anti diming kit and spare filter
- This was the smaller of the S6 bags made
- Used condition will have marks names / number written on

Orders can be shipped worldwide / you will be contacted for extra costs once the order is placed.
For overseas orders We use Royal mail small packet post for orders under 2kg and Parcel Global international Service for goods over 2kg.
