- Genuine British RAF issue peaked cap - New
- Genuine New old stock - Size 7 1/2
- Cap has stiffened peak with stitch detail
- These hats were introduced early 1950s
- 1954 / 1955 / 1956 / 1957 Dated
- RAF issue hence the RAF 22E stores code
- Not Very popular at the time with the RAF other airman
- Were withdrawn quite quickly, so very rare hats
- Great for Collectors
- Longer peak to protect form the sun
- drill cap style

- front stitch detail and badge / air vent holes
- inner crown has cord adjuster
- 3 makers - Christopher Roberts, L.Silbertson and Sons Ltd or Compton Sons & Webb Ltd 1954
- Date stamped and crows foot marked
- As new unissued condition but may have storage marks
